You may have noted that there was no extraordinary woman entry this month, Alprazolam class. Real brand Alprazolam online, For that I apologize, but my volunteer for September had something come up and was unable to write her entry, Alprazolam dangers. Canada, mexico, india, Hopefully we'll be back with another extraordinary woman in October. For the next bit of my blog, I have been asked by a number of people to chronicle my journey from being an NYC midwife to a Canadian midwife in the province of BC, Alprazolam For Sale. I figured, Alprazolam from canada, Buy cheap Alprazolam, what better time to start than now.

Going backwards a little bit: As you know, buy cheap Alprazolam no rx, Where to buy Alprazolam, at the end of June, I left the midwifery job I had been working at for the 3 1/2 years since I graduated from midwifery school, Alprazolam natural. After Alprazolam, It was a bittersweet ending given that I was planning on leaving at the end of the year anyhow to move, but the amount of political posturing in the institution and the busy-ness of the hospital and clinic left me feeling unsafe to the point that I really felt I couldn't stay, fast shipping Alprazolam. Purchase Alprazolam online no prescription, Now, don't get me wrong, rx free Alprazolam, Low dose Alprazolam, that institution has a host of amazing  physicians, midwives, no prescription Alprazolam online, Buy Alprazolam without a prescription, nurses, & PAs caring for the patients in the absolute best way they can, Alprazolam alternatives. It just was wrong for me Alprazolam For Sale, . Is Alprazolam safe, I simply couldn't find any way that the way I was practicing midwifery was good for me, or the families in my care, Alprazolam brand name. Alprazolam dose, It was a painful decision, but one that was made a little bit easier by the fact that another job came up in another institution which appeared to be tailor-made for my current needs, Alprazolam no rx. Online Alprazolam without a prescription, I am now in that other institution, working per-diem in the labor room, where can i buy Alprazolam online. Alprazolam results, I am primarily responsible for triage, but will be called upon to do deliveries when needed, Alprazolam for sale. The job is temporary: I am covering for a midwife out on maternity leave, Alprazolam For Sale. Alprazolam wiki, And the hours aren't ideal: nights, per-diem, buy Alprazolam no prescription. Buy Alprazolam online no prescription, But it is a well-staffed labor room that does 2400 deliveries a year vs an understaffed labor room doing 8000. I actually look forward to going to work now instead of tossing and turning through sleepless nights, Alprazolam pictures, Alprazolam from mexico, despite the 1hr 45 min commute each way.

Which leads me to my journey to Canada, Alprazolam online cod. Alprazolam For Sale, I am eagerly anticipating my official acceptance letter to the Multi-Jurisdictional Midwifery Bridging Program (MMBP) sometime in the next month or so, so that I can begin the process of applying for my student visa and planning my move. Order Alprazolam online overnight delivery no prescription, I received my 'pending funding of the program' acceptance in June and have been informed that official acceptances are generally sent in the fall.

Right now, I am working on trying to plan things without having that letter in my hands, and that is nerve wracking. I have everything I need to make my student visa application, except that letter so that I can walk down to the consulate office and make the application immediately. I've had to take things into consideration such as shipping my car to the west coast, getting my cat up to scratch, as it were, at the vet, moving my belongings to Canada: will I be able to bring in my things without paying duty for a program that is less than a year long.

If all goes according to my tentative plans, I will be flying to LA in mid December and driving up to Vancouver with my good friend, and NYC roommate, Andi, Alprazolam For Sale. This will give me a few weeks to settle in before beginning the program in January. If all does not go according to plan, I have a fallback. I am applying for my Washington State RN license and will apply for a traveler position in the Seattle area for when my current job ends (around Thanksgiving time). That gives me some leeway, a salary, and proximity to Vancouver for a worst-case scenario of if I cannot get into the country before January. Alprazolam For Sale, And so we begin. It's hard to believe that we are in the last two weeks of September. Where is the time going. I am thrilled beyond belief to be going to Canada to practice midwifery the way I had envisioned when I decided to put away my singing career and follow my heart into midwifery. I am looking forward to having more than 5 minutes with a woman at a prenatal visit, actually knowing the women I labor with, and having the opportunity to provide the option of home or hospital birth to the women who want that option. Not to say I haven't appreciated every minute of my midwifery experience here in NY, Alprazolam For Sale. I have been absolutely honored to attend every woman & family I have helped safely through. Every single one of the more than 200. I have learned an untold amount from everyone I have had the pleasure of working with, but now I'm moving forward and am excited and nervous and thrilled. Thanks for making this journey with me. I hope you will find it interesting.

This sounds so adventurous! I hope everything works out for you. Let me know if there is any way that I can help (references from a citizen or something…I have no idea).

Thanks Kate! Maybe a Canadian husband? ;) Just kidding. I will happily call upon you as needed, thank you so much. So glad you’ll be sharing the journey with me!

Ooh this is all so exciting! I’m really looking forward to hearing all about the transition and I’ll be keeping my fingers crossed that it all goes smoothly for you.

I can’t believe I’m in my second year of training already! The time has flown by and first year was pretty overwhelming with so many ups and downs along the way. It’s amazing how quickly faith can be restored though when everything just happens the way it’s supposed to :D .

Anyway good luck and hopefully I’ll get a chance to see you in Vancouver when we visit!

    • Jennifer says:

I’m SO proud of you Lisa! I like to think I was part of your decision to become a midwife, and just so thrilled that you are loving it. Yes, it is stressful and crazy at times, especially the learning of it, but it’s the most rewarding thing I’ve ever done and now can’t imagine spending my life doing anything else. So happy that you are part of the sisterhood. :)

When are you planning a Vancouver visit? There will be absolutely no excuse for us not to get together. Or for you to not stay at my house!

      • Lisa says:

Oh definitely. I’d just started to think seriously about applying when we visited NY in 08 so it was great being able to ask you all about your job! And I also quoted you in one of my interviews :D

We’re hoping to come to Vancouver next Easter to visit H. I’ve been wanting to go for ages and now there’s people to visit I have no excuse. It’ll probably be early April so shall keep you posted.

For real? I’m honored! So happy to have been a part of it. :)

I’m so stoked that you are going to visit Van! I’ll definitely be there by then. Can’t wait to see you again!

          • Lisa says:

Yeah absolutely. It was on the morning of one of my interviews that I read one of your lj entries (I think) and you said something along the lines of ‘through midwifery we can make the world a better place, one birth at a time.’ It stuck with me and I mentioned it at the end of the interview and they offered me a place! I definitely think it helped. I can’t believe it didn’t mention it at the time, I thought I had! :D

  3. Matt says:

Hey, sounds like fun. Good luck.. must admit I am quite jealous!

  4. Kate says:

So proud of you, mate. Am currently in the same situation with the visa. I have been accepted by the college in NYC but haven’t yet received my official acceptance letter, which is holding up my visa. It’s frustrating but still so exciting. Hope everything works out and I’ll be visiting H and my cousin next year too, so of course we’ll need to meet up! x

    • Jennifer says:

Thanks babe! I am so excited that you are going to get to do your dream semester in NYC. I guess I’ll be seeing you in BC next year too. Sweet. :)
