Yay for L.A. visit!
This year has gone by crazy fast. I can’t believe it. I am sure that actually being employed for the majority of it has helped the time go by quicker.
As for the new Mac – I absolutely adore my new iMac. It is one seriously sweet machine. You are welcome to use it when you visit. I do see the appeal of a more portable MacBookPro, but they are pricy (though my iMac wasn’t terribly cheap either
) and you won’t get as powerful a machine (which could be an issue with video editing).
Anyway, I should be seeing you in about a month an a half.
P.S. I am seriously tempted to crash your apartment hunting trip! I miss Vancouver! And it would be nice to see my friend and her baby (who is almost a year old now!)
I’m really excited to come out! I’ll have a better idea of the logistics next week. I’ll probably visit LA, go home for the holidays and then head back to Van in early January. With any luck I’ll have my visa approval by then so I can get my visa while I’m there and then be able to properly arrange my move with appropriate immigration documents for early February.
