Jennifer Shark

Jennifer is a midwife caring for women and their babies at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn. Before being called to midwifery after the death of her mother from ovarian cancer, she sang in opera, concert, and theater for ten years. Favorite roles include Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, Mother in Ragtime, Dalinda in Handel's Ariodante, and Maria in West Side Story. She was also a Soprano Soloist at St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC for three seasons. Jennifer is proud to be organizing this benefit to aid such a wonderful charity helping children in crisis around the world, and hopes to be able to help them further in the years to come.
