The Extraordinary Woman Project
Inside each of us, is something extraordinary. It may not be immediately apparent, but it is there. As women, we have some pretty tall orders to live up to not only in the realm of beauty but of brains and the heart as well. This project is designed to showcase what is extraordinary in each and every woman walking down your street.
That woman struggling to do her grocery shopping with three kids in tow: Did you know she is a foster-mom who takes children into her home and treats them as her own? The cute girl you pass on your jog each morning: Did you know that she is a cancer survivor? How about your boss: Did you know she is putting two amazing kids through college, and maintains the most gorgeous herb garden in your town? Or how about the clerk at Macy’s? Did you know that she is working this job to put herself through college even though she is 10 years older than the rest of her classmates?
Look within yourself and find that thing which is extraordinary. Do you want to share it with the world? Contact me. We can make it happen, totally anonymously.
On the first Wednesday of each month, you will read a short story about an anonymous woman and something that makes her extraordinary, in her own words. If you’d like to participate, please email me at info@thesingingmidwife.com.
